We are grateful for all of the gifts made by WWB donors during these unsettling times whether it’s a gift of your time by volunteering, a gift of your talent by making filter covers, or a gift of cash to our global mission for clean water. And giving continues to increase during the unprecedented COVID pandemic and the challenges of economic uncertainty; according to a recent study of charitable giving across the US, total 2020 donations to nonprofits made by Kentucky donors increased by 37% compared to 2019 levels. The average in total charitable gifts made by a Kentuckian during 2020 was $642 placing the Commonwealth at #24 when looking at personal philanthropy among all 50 states.
