Water By Women Virtual Lions Club

A Global Community. A Shared Purpose. Clean Water for All.

The Water By Women Virtual Lions Club brings together people who are passionate about expanding access to clean water and empowering women around the world.

Chartered in February 2025, the WBW Lions Club is part of Lions Clubs International – one of the world’s largest service organizations, united by a simple motto: “We Serve.”

As a virtual club, we meet online, making it possible for members to participate from anywhere in the world. Together, we’re building a global network of people committed to creating lasting change through service, advocacy, fundraising, and international partnerships.

No previous Lions membership is required to join.

Why Water By Women?

Most clean water solutions are complicated.

They depend on expensive infrastructure, permits, ongoing maintenance, and systems that can be difficult to sustain. Too often, communities are left waiting – or left without clean water once those solutions fail.

Our proven solution

We equip mothers with simple, portable filters that provide clean water for life. The Water By Women Virtual Lions Club helps our proven solution reach even more communities. Through service, advocacy, fundraising, and global partnerships, our members support a model that creates lasting change.

Your place in a worldwide movement starts here.

When you join, you’re not simply becoming part of a service club. You’re joining a worldwide movement of people working together to empower women, expand access to clean water, and transform communities for generations to come. Whether you’re looking to volunteer, advocate, give back, or connect with others who share your passion, there’s a place for you here.

Service Without Borders in Action

In June 2026, Lions from Kentucky, New Mexico, and Idaho joined Lions Clubs throughout Honduras for Water By Women’s first Global Service Trip. Members observed Water Woman training, delivered nearly 1,000 pairs of reading and sunglasses to local communities, and built lasting partnerships that continue supporting women and clean water initiatives today.

The trip demonstrated what’s possible when Lions unite across borders around a shared mission. Planning is already underway for next year’s Global Service Trip.
